From December 1 to 3, the II Congress of Young Scientists ended in the Sirius Park of Science and Arts, Sochi. The forum brought together more than 3 thousand participants from 77 regions of Russia and 40 countries of the world. Alexander Baburin, head of the nanophotonics team at FMN Lab, joined the delegation representing the Bauman University.
The Bauman University team presented the latest samples of developed instruments and devices. Alexander introduced devices designed and developed based on new physical principles – photonic integrated circuits, electro-optical modulators and superconducting single-photon detectors for detecting ultra-weak - up to one-photon - signals, simultaneously providing high detection efficiency.
