SCULL Technology on Phys.org

30 august 2019

The unique technology of engineers of FMN Laboratory has been the subject of publication on Phys.org, a leading web-based science, research and technology news service.

FMN Lab engineers have developed an original technology for depositing ultra low-loss metal films with high-quality single crystals in vacuum (SCULL technology). Scientists have implemented an original vacuum setup and have proposed a fundamentally new approach to the “assembly” of ultra-smooth thin films of metals by controlling their growth at the atomic level. In addition to the unique properties of the materials obtained, which have no analogues in the world, the developed technology is relatively cheap and can be used in almost any modern laboratory.

The patented technology and proven experimental values have the highest achievements in this area.
